From our perspective the event your company developed was an excellent opportunity to network and to become aware of organizations that are making a difference for Latinos. For example, we were able to make contact with organizations that will help us advertise our professional openings among the Hispanic community. We also found that people were truly interested in the concept of "Employee Resource Groups" like ours (i.e., Compuware's Latin American Employee Resource Group). We truly believe they make a difference for both companies and for the employees. It was interesting to learn what other companies are doing to motivate Hispanics to join them and to capitalize on diversity. The idea of motivating the Hispanic community in Michigan to come together to be able to exercise a greater degree of influence at different levels is key for our future.

I think the event you developed and excuted was great. There were many interesting companies networking with each other. Whirlpool was able to make contacts with individuals who work with specific Hispanic segments. We also had fun and enjoyed the great variety of Latin food.
